The Juicy World of Jellies: A Sheer Obsession

If you’ve ever swooned over a glossy, glass-like manicure, chances are you’ve been mesmerized by jelly nail polish. There’s something undeniably chic about that soft, squishy, translucent finish—like a candy-coated dream on your fingertips. But jellies aren’t just a trend; they’re a full-blown obsession. Let’s dive into the sheer magic of Cirque Colors’ jelly polishes, their evolution, and how you can create stunning jelly nail art.

From the First Pour to Over 40 Shades

Our jelly journey began in 2019 with the Rose Quartz, Green Jade, and Tortoise Shell Nail Art Sets—our first-ever sheer polishes, inspired by the gemstone face rollers that were all the rage back then. Even before that, Cirque Colors had a long-standing love for stones, metals, and natural textures (hello, Facets Collection, Lapis Lazuli, Magic Turquoise, Patina, and Druzy). These jelly sets were an expansion of that inspiration, designed to make effortless nail art accessible to everyone.

Fast forward to September 2021, and we officially launched the Glazed Collection, featuring five fall-inspired jellies and our black speckled topper, Spotted. This collection was a turning point—bringing nuanced, salon-quality jelly shades to the indie polish world. Marsala Jelly (one of our best sellers) was born into this collection and has been slaying nail beds ever since. Since then, we’ve expanded our palette to over 40 jelly colors, ranging from electrifying hot pinks to smoky blacks and deep olives.

In 2024, the Glazed Collection returned with Glazed 2024. Inspired by the vibrant colors of ripe produce, this collection features six bold, blendable jellies that bring a fresh twist to your nail game. Since the original launch in 2021, we’ve expanded our jelly palette, and Glazed 2024 took things to the next level with shades that are perfect for layering or wearing solo for a glossy, juicy, fruity,  just-picked look. Bright, bold, and bursting with fruity vibes, these shades were designed to give you the ultimate fresh, flavorful finish. This collection birthed some of our most popular jelly nail polish shades like Lagoon Jelly and Pink Lady Jelly!

Glazed 2025: A Candy Lovers Dream

It's 2025 and Glazed is back! Pick ‘n’ mix between six new sugary-sweet shades with the Glazed 2025 Collection. Blend and build your glazed nail looks with five sheer jellies and one zingy crelly shade. They’re glassy and gorgeous when worn on their own, or you can marble them together to create confectionary-inspired looks.

This Collection Contains:

  • Sherbet Jelly - (previously Fūyu Jelly) An orange coral jelly reminiscent of creamy orange sherbet and nostalgic summer treats.

  • Lolly Jelly - A watermelon pink jelly, inspired by the vibrant hues of chewy fruit gummies.

  • Pitaya Jelly - A magenta pink jelly as bold and juicy as pitaya pulp.

  • Sweet Mint - A light green crelly, offering a hybrid finish between crème and jelly for buildable coverage. (Want to know what a crelly is? Check out our blog on it!)

  • Açaí Jelly - A dusty dark purple jelly, channeling the rich berry-cacao flavor of the superfood itself.

  • Curaçao Jelly - A vivid turquoise green jelly, reminiscent of the glassy waters of a tropical getaway.

Glazed 2025 expands on everything we love about jellies: ultra-sheer layers, playful translucency, and endless mix-and-match possibilities. Want to take your glazed mani to the next level? Try pairing Glazed 2024 and 2025 together—like a candy-colored French tip look featuring two contrasting shades.

Why Jellies Are Different (and Why You’ll Love Them)

Jelly polishes aren’t meant to be fully opaque in two coats—and that’s exactly what makes them special. The key to their signature squishy look is sheerness + layering. While cremes are all about full coverage, jellies are about depth and translucency—giving your nails a juicy, almost wet-look finish.

Application Tip: The sweet spot for a perfect jelly mani? 3-4 coats. Not only does this build up that gorgeous depth, but it also mimics the sheer gel polish look you see all over Pinterest—minus the commitment. Bonus? All those layers extend the wear of your mani!

Jelly Nail Art You Need to Try

One of the best things about jellies is their versatility. They’re perfect for layering, gradients, and negative space designs. Our top pick?

💫 The Ultra Glazed Bundle (Glazed 2024 + 2025): This look pairs two jellies together—one as the base, another for the tips—creating a dreamy, ombré-like finish. It’s sheer genius (literally).
