Cirque Colors is a New York-based beauty brand specializing in bold and
unique nail lacquers. All our products are made by hand in our studio
in Brooklyn, NY. We are seeking a Beauty Intern to help us in our
day-to-day activities from small batch manufacturing to online marketing
to retail/wholesale operations. We share responsibilities and wear
many different hats so this position would be great for someone who
wants to learn about the different facets of the beauty industry.
Requirements:
- Must be a student and studying a related field (cosmetics, design, fashion, etc.)
- A strong interest in the beauty/cosmetics industry
- Excellent writing/oral communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Computer savvy
- Must possess a laptop to bring to work
- Comfortable with using social media such as Facebook/Instagram/Twitter
- Open to handling and working with raw materials - may get messy at times
Responsibilities:
- Conduct online research for marketing purposes
- Prepare marketing materials for current/potential customers
- Develop digital content for social media channels
- Assist at trade shows, markets and other local events (manicure events, fashion week, etc.)
- Support production processes such as implementing/testing new procedures, purchasing supplies and assembling product packaging
- Execute operational tasks such as inventory counts and order fulfillment
- Handle general administrative duties such as filing and organizing
- Take on special projects as needed
This is an unpaid internship with expectations of 10-15 hours/week for
the fall semester (Sep to Dec). You will receive school credit, a
transportation stipend and free nail polish. To apply for this
